The staff in the library media and technology department is now able to offer four different introductory computer classes on Saturday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30. Jolie will be teaching two classes each month. The topics and dates are listed on the enclosed calendar and are also listed on the online calendar described above. These beginning level classes are offered free of charge but space is limited. For more information contact the media desk at 962-2599.
Genealogy Workshops
March 13 from 9 am - 12 noon Marsha Knackstedt, with Leave a Legacy, will present the workshop “Digitizing Your Family History.” On April 24, also from 9 am - 12 noon, there will be a workshop on church records presented by Valerie Lair. These programs are presented in conjunction with the Larimer County Genealogical Society and are free of charge. Contact Jackie at 962-2586 for more information.
If You Can’t Get Out
Here’s just a quick reminder that the Library has an outreach service to homebound residents of Loveland. Books and media items are delivered to approximately 90 people who cannot drive or otherwise get to the library by themselves by Outreach Librarian Dixie Huff and her nine volunteers. The volunteers learn the interests and abilities of the homebound people and bring them materials they can enjoy. Many of the homebound customers have permanent disabilities but the service is also available to persons with short-term reasons they cannot get out. If you or any of your friends or relatives would like to learn more about homebound services, call Dixie at 962-2592.

While this newsletter and calendar includes the library activities for March and April planned by mid-February, there are sometimes changes and additions. If a program requires registration, attendees can sign up through the event calendar as well.
