Friends of the Loveland Public Library Foundation Presents Michael Johnson, known by the songs “Bluer Than Blue,” “Give Me Wings,” and “That’s That,” brings his sweet distillation of solo voice and classical guitar artistry. His work has won him a Grammy nomination and #1 Hits in the Country, Pop and R&B categories. His life’s path has taken him from birth in Alamosa and schooling in Denver to college at CSU and music training in Barcelona and Brazil with the guitar masters Tarrago and Bonfa. Johnson toured with the Broadway production of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, joined with John Denver to complete the Chad Mitchell Trio and has released 20 albums during the past three decades.
