Where & When Can I Donate Books During The Construction Phase At The Library?
In the near future there will be two large blue book donation bins located outside "The Sorting Place", at 1010 West 10th Street, (these are not the blue recycling bins). Once the book bins are in place, you will be able to drop off your gently used donations any time Monday through Sunday. These bins will be for donations only. You will still need to return your checked out library materials to the library.
Until then, your gently used donations may be dropped off at the library during regular library business hours, or on Wednesdays only, at "The Sorting Place", 1010 West 10th Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please remember, we do not accept: Business and Computer books older than 2007, Textbooks, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, Encyclopedias, music on cassette tape or magazines-including: ideals, Sunset or National Geographic.
Please donate or dispose of these items elsewhere.
Due to copyright laws we cannot accept Music CD's, Videos or DVD's that have been copied or self recorded.
Books that are missing pages, covers, have broken spines, are water damaged or warped, stained, moldy, soiled, or gnawed on by pets and children, need to be recycled or thrown away.
