Honor for Rose Anne Wheeler, Friends’ Volunteer Extraordinaire
Library staff nominated Rose Anne Wheeler for Loveland Honors, an annual Volunteer Appreciation Week event sponsored by the City, School District and McKee Hospital. Her nomination was also forwarded the volunteer recognition at the 2010 State of the Community event sponsored by the United Way of Larimer Count that was held in June. Rose Anne is on the Friends’ board, coordinates Loveland Loves to Read and is a Co-chair of the Capital Campaign. She has volunteered more hours to the Friends and the library than she cares to admit. She has played a huge role in the success of the Friends and its fundraising.
